At APS Phoenix, we proudly welcome families of all backgrounds and have had the honor of supporting first-generation immigrant families across Arizona. Our mission extends beyond education—it’s about creating access, empowerment, and voice.
In partnership with organizations like Mi Familia Vota and local law firms, our trained volunteers have led citizenship workshops, guiding hundreds of families on their path toward naturalization. These workshops not only build knowledge but also instill confidence as participants take steps toward securing their future.
We’ve also hosted voter registration drives to promote civic participation, ensuring that new citizens and longtime residents alike know their rights and the power of their vote.
Beyond direct service, APS Phoenix actively connects interested students with lawyers and legislators to explore careers in law and public policy. By doing so, we are cultivating a new generation of leaders—students who are ready to represent and uplift their communities.
