Empowering First-Generation Families Toward Higher Education
We invite you to partner with us in celebrating the academic achievements of our youth and supporting the next generation of leaders through our 2025 Graduation and Award Sponsorship Program.
The Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Tempe Center for the Arts, where we will honor the hard work and accomplishments of our students. Your sponsorship helps make this event possible and ensures we can continue to award funding to students pursuing higher education.

WeGrad: Family Education Program
Empowering First-Generation Families Toward Higher Education
The WeGrad Family Education Program is a 6-week workshop series created by Arizona State University and designed especially for families with children in middle school or high school who are preparing for college. The program is tailored to support first-generation students and their parents with practical tools to help them succeed in higher education.
What to Expect:
- Practical guidance on navigating the U.S. education system
- Strategies to support your child emotionally and academically
- Information about how college works — and how to pay for it
- Materials to take home and apply with your family
- Community service opportunities and letters of recommendation
- Families who complete the program receive priority consideration for scholarships through APS and ASU
- Dates: Mondays, June 2 – July 7, 2025
- Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Cost: Fully sponsored by Arizona State University
